Experience

Creative Director / Founder at The Culture Rooms

September 2020 to Present

The Culture Rooms is a multi-room experience under one roof that taps into the multiplicity and value of Black Culture today and our hopes for tomorrow. Through multi-sensory installations, performances, and workshops, we present you with a new way to connect Blackness, creativity, culture, and community. Our first experience was a 20 foot inflatable called the Full Set - which is a pair of hands with a full set of acrylic nails, October 2021. We were have shown at Blink Cincinnati, October 2022.

Art Producer at She Likes Cutie

September 2022 to Present 

Liaise directly with clients and artists for art deliveries once the project and contracts have been signed and executed. Work with the artists to meet project schedules, while ensuring all deliveries ensure client notes. Produce confirmed projects and manage ongoing jobs by gathering project specs and manage delivery expectations with clients. Source production partners such as producers, video directors, animators, digital developers, photographers, etc. Plan social media updates for new project releases, and contribute to newsletter and press release planning.

Senior Creative Producer at Bombas

October 2020 to June 2022

In this role I managed campaign workflows with teams like creative, merchandising, marketing, sourcing and legal. These workflows include tasks both on and off the set, these include manage a database of diverse talent, maintain budgets. Oversee casting with diversity standards. Manage a direct report for the past

3 years. Serve and champion the internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy committee for company wide initiatives, which encouraged diversity amongst models and led the charge in BIPOC & Women majority crews and vendors. Started our Black ERG group -
the Black Hive, which led to the creation of
the Black Hive Collection and campaign.

Content Producer at Bombas

January 2019 to October 2020

Oversee all photo projects from E-comm to Brand which included maintaining the budget, managing deadlines, vendor management, serving as an on set art director and casting of crew and models. This job also entailed asset management for the creative department and e-commerce and brand photography.

Graphic Designer at Bombas

October 2018 to January 2019

Design and iterate marketing assets like emails, paid social ads and social media content to meet marketing needs. Assist in
pre-production and production needs for photo shoots. Create website product images that would be used in our Shopify storefront. Oversee asset management in Dropbox.

Career Highlights

The Full Set

Is a 20 feet tall sculpture that is an inflatable. This sculpture was a collaboration between Mz.Icar and me to highlight the beauty of Black Culture and the art of acrylics. This piece was shown at Blink Cincinnati 2022 with a new set of nails called “Their Flowers. 

Black Hive Collection

I lead creative ideation, execution and production of a photo shoot that involved 13 Black Hive members, myself included. We were able to have a completely Black crew, Black catering and shot with the photographer Mark Clennon. In addition to the creative work I was voted by my peers to act as our press representative for the collection. 

Bombas Underwear Launch

Worked cross functionally with Merchandising, Site Merchandising, UX/UI, Creative and the Strategy team to create a creative language for the Underwear launch. We were able to pull size inclusive crew and talent to support this launch. As well as be able to support our six colors of nudes across the size range.
